The CO.JP division of Nike has been responsible for some of the most coveted and hardest-to-find sneakers in the brand's history. Short for “Concept Japan,” this initiative has brought forth numerous ultra-rare releases exclusive to Japan, some of which have later made their way to the United States. One notable example is the “Ugly Duckling” pack, with its “Plum” colorway set to return in 2024.
Originally launched in 2001, the Nike Dunk Low CO.JP “Plum” made a comeback just three years ago, contributing to the resurgence of the silhouette. With the same style code as its 2020 iteration, the 2024 Retro version is anticipated to maintain an identical design and color scheme. The upper, crafted entirely from suede, will likely feature shades of dark and light purple, complemented by deep red accents on the Swoosh, heel tab, outsole, and laces.
